Understand your literature
Map: Venues
Where the work could land: journals ranked by fit, adjacent work you are missing, and conferences.
Venues asks where this work could go, through three lenses over one engine, where Publish ranks journals by how well they fit your project, Read surfaces topically close work your corpus is not citing yet, and Present covers conferences and a curated deadline calendar. It anchors to the project instead of to a manuscript, so it is useful long before you have anything finished, because knowing which journals your work belongs in shapes how you write it. The fit scoring keeps saying how sure it is, since a method match is always called an estimate, the citation read is qualified by how much of your corpus resolved, and stale rankings admit they are stale. It needs a paid plan.
